RPG the Day till dusk

Since the 80’s I have been an avid player of role playing games. Starting off of course with the first edition of dungeons and dragons (first published in 1974). From that point it slowly branched out when new expansions and modules came available. My friends and I gobbled them up like crack addicts. When new types of RPG games started pouring into the market it was a mad dash for us to find the best ones to play. Some were ok, a few were crap, and others (dare I say it) made D&D seem like yesterday’s news. But no matter how I felt about the newest games I played or the possibilities of adventuring. I have always come back to D&D. Maybe it is just because it was the first and has held so many great memories for me. Or, maybe it is just because the system works perfectly.

I have actually just recently been invited to a brand new game that came out recently. My close friend/roommate and I have been gaming off and on for about 5 years now. Switching back and forth between different RPG systems. And now he is running a GI Joe campaign system that I can’t wait to try out.
